A lot of our friends are very jealous of me because I live in Tampa; I moved here about five or six months ago when I was assigned to a year-long job.
I didn’t expect things to be perfect here, but I thought it would be a lot more fun that I am currently having.
I didn’t want to extend my time on this job, but I didn’t have any choice. In the last more than five months, the job has been extended for three additional months plus it looks as if I will be in Tampa for this entire time. I do not mind residing in Tampa, but it is far from all roses plus fairy dust love our friends believe! My lake house is quite luxurious plus I have to take a cab to labor everyday. I didn’t want to take our motorcar to the job site, because that meant driving a genuinely long distance instead of flying, but the weather here in Tampa is actually horrible. It’s hot, muggy, plus humid. I tried to go to the beach on our last afternoon off plus the water was covered with red algae. I could not go anywhere near the beaches after I found out this is called red tide; Red tide is a significant complication that affects many FL beaches love Davis Islands in Tampa. This complication continues to worsen each and every single year. I suppose it seems nice to live by the water, but when the water is filled with bacteria plus other viruses, I cannot surf, swim, or water ski. When this job is finished next year, I am going to take a job in an unusual state. I have spent enough time in Tampa to suppose that FL is not the locale that I want to put down roots or start a family.
