My wifey and I were on a different mission than most visitors, many people enjoyed touring new locations in the summer, but the cities were always full of visitors from all over the world, which was quite strenuous.
Most tours were known to rush people around, and you didn’t quite get the time to see certain venues well.
That’s why the people I was with and I came up with a plan to tour spots open throughout the year only, then it meant the people I was with and I could tour certain museums and similar venues in the Wintertide instead of the Summer weeks; Last winter, the town on our list was Evansville in IN, and when the people I was with and I flew in, it was already winter, and snow was everywhere. That didn’t bother us so much because the people I was with and I had explored multiple other venues in similar conditions… Rather than stay in a hotel, the people I was with and I booked a rental property that gave us the same feeling as home. The owner was waiting for us when the people I was with and I pulled up to the apartment and welcomed us; She showed the 2 of us around the house, and the people I was with and I felt her a/c was in excellent form to keep us sizzling while the people I was with and I were in the stay. The homeowner left us with some information about Evansville in the Wintertide and venues the people I was with and I could grab a sizzling cup of excellent coffee. We stayed the rest of the day indoors and began our tour of the town the next day. We would have started the tour going to see gardens in summer, however nothing was alive in the freezing weather. So, instead, the people I was with and I decided to go to the museum, then first on our list of open Wintertide museums was Reitz Home Museum. The place of the building was excellent, and the people I was with and I ended up reading quite a lot. There weren’t multiple visitors so the tour guide could take us slowly through the different exhibitions.
