Just south of Chicago, Illinois, is the little village of Lansing, i’ve lived in Lansing for the past 20 years.
I love that small community & it isn’treally far from the busy city, and the commuter train can get you close to a lot of the bars, restaurants, & neighborhood landmarks. The neighborhood shares its name with the capital of MI, it is honestly one of the suburbs of Chicago… Since all of us are only fourths from Lake MI, the weather during the Wintertide months is frigid frigid with lots of wind & snow. It’s pressing to have a enjoyable oil furnace when it’s frigid outside, especially when the hot & cold temperatures are below frigid, then last weekend, it was only 25 during the day; Both of us had snowfall three mornings in a row. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning shop in Lansing to check on the oil furnace before the frigid mornings were here. I was already having some trouble keeping the lake house warm & I knew the hot & cold temperatures were only going to get colder after Christmas. The repair specialist from the Heating & Air Conditioning shop in Lansing came to the lake house & performed a diagnostic check. The specialist felt that the ignition switch should be changed out, then he didn’t find a lot of issues with the oil furnace other than the faulty ignition switch. The Heating & Air Conditioning specialist suggested new weather stripping around the doors & windows & he also stated that the insulation in our attic was almost 20 years old. I’m sure all of these issues have something to do with the fact that it is difficult to heat the lake house when it is frigid outside.
