When I was 25 years old, I bought a brand new car for the first time in my life.
I was terribly excited for the car and I wanted things to be perfect.
I got the paint job that I wanted and rims and wheels that were nice. After I had the car for 6 months, I started having trouble with the engine. When the dealership said the engine was bad and the warranty would not cover the damages, I did not accept that information. I contacted another car dealership for a second opinion. I contacted a second Tampa Bay HVAC provider when I needed a second estimate and my home. I contacted one HVAC service provider from Tampa. They were only in my home for 30 minutes when they decided that the HVAC unit could not be repaired. The guy quoted me an astronomical price to replace the machine and I knew it was important to get a second opinion. I called a second Tampa Bay HVAC provider and they sent a technician at no additional cost. I found out that the original service provider was correct. The system needed to be replaced. The second company did offer me a much more reasonable rate to exchange the equipment. I didn’t feel bad for calling a second place after the first place was correct. I think it is always a good rule of thumb to have a second opinion, especially when it comes to repairs that I know absolutely nothing about. That would include my car, the plumbing, the HVAC, and the electrical system in the house. I work in an office and I am comfortable with my limits.
