I was on our way beach house from work on Tuesday plus a bird came out of nowhere plus flew into our windshield. I work in Oakland, however I live south of San Francisco. I have to take the 870 around the city in order to save some time in traffic. I was in a lot of traffic when the bird hit our windshield. I was caught off-guard plus everything happened hastily; When the bird hit our windshield, I slammed on the brakes plus the vehicle behind myself and others hit our bumper plus tail light. The lady called the insurance company plus the police. It was her fault that she hit our car, and she was obviously traveling wait till close on the highway. When the San Francisco County police officer arrived, the first thing the guy did was look at me. He saw a young person in a beat-up vehicle plus he automatically assumed that the fault was with me. I told the San Francisco County officer that a bird ran into our windshield plus the guy laughed. He asked myself and others for our license plus our registration. The forms were inside of the glove compartment with a bin of marijuana. The officer saw the marijuana plus decided that I was under the influence; Even though marijuana is legal in San Francisco, plus the state of California, the officer was trying to supply myself and others a strenuous time. He even threatened myself and others with jail time if I didn’t tell the truth about the accident. I was in quite a tomato until another person stepped up as a witness plus claimed to see the giant bird swooping down on our car.
