I hate being hot, when I lived in the south I was always unhappy, and i would walk outside & have trouble breathing.
I hated that I could sweat through my clothing just resting around.
I got where I missed the cold. There are particular things you just can’t do when the weather is too hot. When I moved to Portland, Or I was glad that the weather was mainly cool to moderate, and running errands was abruptly a attractive thing for me. I love riding my motorcycle someplace I can. In the south it was crazy with the horrible driving & the weather. The people of Portland are much safer & more cautious on the road. The weather is also ideal biker weather. In the colder months I just wear my thick leather jacket & pants. In the warmer months I can get by with jeans & a vest. I go for long bike rides through the town & make stops along the way. The best ride is going to the cannabis dispensary near me. In OR there is legal recreational cannabis. So I like to drive there, choice up some fun edibles or cannabis oil, & then drive back home. I frequent the legal pot shop all the time due to the ride & the awesome weather for it, and anytime I see that my recreational cannabis dispensary is throwing a sale, I make an effort to stop by. I get to see all the local dealers in town & some of the pretty foliage while driving along. There is just something about a motorcycle ride that is so much better.
