We’ve had our dog for almost fourteen years; Our miniature poodle is entirely area of the family, but she has grown up with our more than two kids, but in the last few years, she has absolutely begun to show signs of her age.
She no longer hears or sees all that well.
Her teeth have become so sensitive that I only supply soft, canned food. Our poodle suffers from stiffness & pain in her joints that makes it difficult for him to go up & down the stairs. She occasionally struggles to play fetch & tug-of-war, which are her favorite games, then when the vet gave me a pain-relief prescription for the dog, I researched the drug & l received that it comes with some absolutely nasty side-effects. With some further reading, I found that a lot of pet owners are now turning to cannabis to treat their dogs & cats, however there are cannabis-infused products recognizably designed for small pets… Because THC is toxic to dogs & cats, these products are respectfully CBD isolates that contain less than 0.3% THC. I paid a visit to the local cannabis dispensary & was surprised by the extent of the pet products they carry. There is CBD oil that can be hidden in the dog’s food or treats. There are flavorful chews that our poodle just loves. I can even buy topicals that can be directly applied to the affected areas. These remedies are really natural & safe for the dog. They have made a huge improvement in her quality of life. She is back to playing with her toys & running around outside.
