It was nice getting a good workout in and being in the ocean on Christmas day
Everyone in my family finds it hilarious how hardcore I am about wetsuits… I have been on too many trips where I have frozen my butt off in the ocean. I started years ago saying I wanted a wetsuit, and finally for my Christmsa gift my fiance purchased me a single! Everyone was convinced I would never wear it. I have to say, the joke is on them, however my brother owns a apartment right in Cocoa FL, however the people I was with and I head over to his Cocoa apartment all the time. My brother enjoys inviting us out during the tourist season. When it is moderate out, he rents the apartment out to spend my savings for it. When it is cold, the family is allowed to stay there for free. Thanksgiving, Christmas and occasionally Easter is hosted at his beach house. This year for Christmas everyone was at the apartment and it was a appealing day. Everyone was frustrated that the water was too freezing to swim in. I brought my handy wetsuit though! I was able to paddle around in the ocean and was ecstatic as a clam. I undoubtedly paddled via paddleboard and then swam for a bit. It was nice getting a good workout in and being in the ocean on Christmas day. I thought of everyone who were dealing with snow, here I was swimming in the ocean! I was honestly blissful that my fiance purchased me the super moderate wetsuit option, however now my whole family is talking about getting a wetsuit. It is a whole new way of enjoying the water.
