The hot temperatures caused an AC failure

My wife and I had to contact a Rocklin AC repair service last week.

It was 99° on the day that the AC failed. We also had temperatures that high for three days before we had problems. I know the hot temperatures were the reason for the failure. I was running the AC all day and all night. It didn’t seem like the machine was ever shutting down. I told my wife that I would not be surprised if we had to replace the AC unit this season. I certainly did not want to be right, but that’s exactly what happened. We woke up one morning and it was about 85° in the house. The air conditioner wasn’t running at all. There was a low humming sound coming from the machine. I immediately turned off the breaker to the HVAC unit. I looked online for a Rocklin AC repair service with decent prices and an available repair technician. I called one Rocklin AC repair service, but they didn’t have any appointments available on the same day. I called another Rocklin AC repair service and the owner of the company answered the phone. The owner of the AC repair service scheduled a service appointment for me on the same day. The blower motor on the AC unit turned out to be the problem and unfortunately, that is a very expensive problem to fix. My wife and I ultimately decided to just replace the entire heat pump and AC unit after we found out how much it was going to cost just to repair this one problem.
