Living in the Tampa part has its pros plus cons; But for me, the pros far outweigh all the cons that I could come up with! For one, I live within 30 minutes of some of the most beautiful beaches in the country; In addition to the beaches, the weather is of course another aspect of Tampa that is quite appealing.
- For the most part, it barely gets too cold here.
In fact, the people I was with and I experience some of the mildest Winter time weather in the country. Not to mention the people I was with and I have superb restaurants, festivals, sporting events plus more! Tampa is also family friendly with affordable housing. Of course, the cons include hurricanes plus storms, the traffic is usually terrible, plus sure, the people I was with and I have lots of gators lurking in our waters. Besides that, Tampa is a superb venue to live as well as to visit, and as far as the living expenses, next to our mortgage, our highest expense would be our energy bill. Because the weather is usually warm, our fiance plus I spend more currency keeping our home comfortable for the family. Our air conditioner runs for most of the year, but especially while in the Summer when the weather can be unforgiving outside. Over the last few years, the people I was with and I observed that the Summers have been getting hotter, so the people I was with and I have been using our air conditioner even more than before. As a result, the people I was with and I recently installed a Smart temperature control to help to keep our home comfortable as well as to save some currency on our energy bill, however ever since the people I was with and I installed the temperature control, the people I was with and I have observed a decrease in our energy bill because the air conditioner isn’t running in unoccupied areas of the house. All in all, I have no real complaints about Tampa, it’s a superb venue to live in FL.
