There are a lot of reasons that a person might choose to use medical marijuana.
For me, I choose to use medical marijuana because it helps with chronic pain. I regularly inhale cannabis to help relieve the pain in my body. I have a lot of pain due to the fact that I have a debilitating disease. The disease is never going to get better. It’s only going to get worse and more painful as I get older. When Michigan was still a medical marijuana state, I went to a doctor in Muskegon to get relief. The doctor in Muskegon worked out of a marijuana dispensary. It was actually quite easy to meet with the doctor and get certified all at the same time. After I got my certification, I had the ability to buy marijuana from any marijuana shop in the state. I moved to Muskegon about a month ago, and I was surprised by the number of marijuana dispensaries in the area. When I was certified for medical use 10 years ago, there were only a couple of dispensaries in muskegon. Now there are probably at least a dozen. I haven’t driven all around the city, but there were definitely a couple on the west side of the city. I imagine there are probably even more on the other side of the city where there is a higher population and much more construction and development. I’m going to eventually get out there and see the entire city, but I have been very busy with work and unpacking my two bedroom apartment.
