I moved to Denver for a job opportunity.
The promotion provided a significant raise in pay, better benefits and opportunity for advancement.
However, it requires long hours and involves a great deal of pressure to meet deadlines and high expectations. I was happy to relocate to Denver because it’s such a beautiful area. I love the landscape, the change of seasons and the opportunity to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. I make the most of my time. My busy lifestyle creates stress. I suffer from migraines, insomnia and soreness in my neck, shoulders, back and hips. Fortunately, recreational cannabis is legal in Colorado. I don’t need to go through the hassle of qualifying for a medicinal marijuana card. As a state resident, I simply show a valid government-issued identification and I’m allowed to shop at any of the many dispensaries. There are a wide variety of cannabis products available. I’ve tried just about every consumption method. I appreciate the quick onset of smoking and the discretion of vapes. I like the portability and simplicity of tinctures and the potency of concentrates. Edibles are tasty and provide long-lasting effects. However, my go-to method for treating my symptoms is cannabis-infused topicals. It’s helpful that they don’t cause any psychoactive effects. This allows me to apply them multiple times a day with no worries that the effects will impact my ability to work. I especially enjoy the CBD bath bombs. Every weekend, I set aside an hour to soak in the tub. Because the hot water opens up my pores, it allows the cannabinoids to penetrate more quickly and thoroughly. The CBD is great for alleviating inflammation and pain. It soothes my aching muscles and gets rid of headaches. I always sleep better that night and wake up feeling totally refreshed.
